Hello,
I got my EAD through my primary Employer. I am currently working on EAD but with a different Employer (NY State Agency) who doesn�t encourage GC processing, so did not file my AC21 and been working for over a year now. I still have good rapport with my primary Employer. Now I am scheduled to go to INDIA for few weeks, my question is " whom should I say is my Employer " if the immigration officer asks me at the port of entry (JFK). Please advise as I will be carrying my current pay stubs.

This guy was even strange that, when I gave him two copies of AP, he gave one back and said he needs only one. He just took a copy of it after entering and stamping it.
Strange are the ways they behave. When I entered thru Chicago using AP last year, the officer was praising me for giving him two copies and did not even send me for secondary inspection, as everyone before was only giving him one copy and they were searching their bags for the second copy????

I believe USCIS has a confidentiality agreement with their employees and you donot want him to lose his job.

I was not aware of the 120 days... I filed my wifes EAD day 138 days before expiry (should have been more carefull!)... So what happens now? Rejection? Denial? RFE?
Also what docs should be send after efiling, if any?

As far as I see, here is an issue related to encoding; you have to know the Encoding of the file (or it's Code Page in order to get the encoding) and after that, read from file using the encoding, like:

Yes, you can stay in US as long as your I-485 is pending. In order to work, you need EAD, which you can file at any point of time (even if the previous one gets expired). Please note that you have to wait for the I-765 approval before stating to work on EAD.

I got the paperwork from my attorney for my wife's 485 as they want us to be ready so that if dates are current, we just mail the paperwork without having to start at that time.
However, my wife is pregnant and i am not sure if medical examinations are possible. What are my options ?
Complete medicals without the vaccines, etc which cannot be taken during pregnancy. The Civil surgeon shoould make a note on the medical report that the applicant is pregnant and so medical is incomplete.
When your 485 is picked up for processing, an RFE will be issued and then she can complete the rest.

It should come with in a week. It all depends on whether you filed your I-485 through attorney or not. For me they send it on 08/29/08. My attorneys informed me on 09/04/2008.

My main concern is RD of 28th August.....Does that mean that we are falling out of August 17 window and our cases will be put on hold or may be denied.......
Atleast, if I had RD of July 2, 2007...when our cases reached USCIS....I would not worry about it that much.....
Now...when it get transfered to NSC, will we get new case #s....I think all cases at NSC starts with LIN....
Anybody else in same situation?

approving 2 I-140s , one based on Schedule A priority date - 2006-- and then another one using the prior labor date 2004. And then when it comes to adjudication, refusing to accept the 2004 priority date.

Hi All,
I have been following the postings on this forum. I appreciate all the hard work the core group is doing. I also appreciate the active participation by all members in answering/discussing the forum topics.
I have contributed a one time $200.00 in support and would contribute more and request every one to support in there capacity.
Every one needs PR status, but in my case, the need is more for my wife, because of the reason that she wants to pursue her medical residency here.
I sometimes wonder and sometimes I feel like going back to India, work for my present company for 1 year, come back here on a managerial/executive position on L1 along with my wife and apply for Perm in Eb1 cat...this said is all my thought!
This would enable my wife to get work permit as L1 dependent and an eventually a residency position in a good univ and a current 1-485 status.
Only thing though is my wife would need to attend interviews.
Any suggestions/feedback will help me and all other people in this situation.

Medical institutions will apply for a H1 for her. Dont waste any time. She can start applying ofr residency as soon as she completes her USMLE part 2 and then start preparing for part3 good luck!

Thanks mp70 for sharing the information. Your experience has helped me with two worries. My 797 was approved in June end and I am going for stamping at Chennai at the end of July. You put my worries with the short gap PIMS verification issues to an end.
It is good to know that there is a separate counter for revalidation. Did the officer ask any information for dependents H4 visa?
Also, did you do anything to check whether your petition was present in the PIMS database?

I live in california, and my employer too in California.
Do you guys know the Fate of CSC transfred people like us.Will they transfer back to NSC..
Do you huys know any future cases like this wht we have current situation.
